Seems hes willing to stay Catholic.
His sin was falling in love with another human being not,
falling out of love with Christ. Very well...
I see no sin in “Falling in Love” with another person
The Sin was in being unfaithful to the
Oath he freely entered into,
without revoking the Oath first.
I know all too well the consequences
of a binding Oath
And the damage incurred by Faithlessness

(This coming from a Protestant Prosepective)..;but did he have sex with the woman outside of marriage, or is he just ‘in love’ with her?? if it’s the latter, though I am not a Catholic I would think it’s fine as long as he leaves the priesthood afterall the apostle paul endorsed marriage if a man can’t controll himself (and wants to stay right with God)!

I’m afraid, for the sake of this ‘priest’s’ soul that there were sexual relations involved.

Priests who have been consecretated under the novus ordo rubics are probably not valid.
