I’m getting something about the symbolism of the office of the President overshadowing liberty.
Or something like that.

Im getting something about the symbolism of the office of the President overshadowing liberty.Speaking of the office of the President overshadowing liberty, I heard on WABC radio this afternoon that the steps to the crown on Lady Liberty were going to re-open to the public on July 4. They were closed shortly after 9/11/01. This is considered to be a major "reversal of the policy of the Bush administration".
They then aired a soundbite of NY Rep Anthony Weiner saying something to the effect that who better to be the first person to climb those stairs and represent liberty than Present Uhbama. I wanted to puke.
