"The response from the Obama staff, as well as the response from a number of political pundits on both the left and right side of the aisle, has been that continuing to question Obama’s eligibility to the office of POTUS is a waste of time, counterproductive, and makes the Right look foolish for asking."

No, what looks foolish is that the 0bama staff and the president himself (deliberate small 'p') won't make a simple phone call or letter and obtain the $10 certificate rather than spend hundreds of thousands of dollars, maybe millions now. We all know why -- there is no such legitimate certificate. He is a native Kenyan!!

“...and makes the Right look foolish for asking.”

Un hah, “foolish.” If you are stopped by the police for some minor driving infraction and the cop says, “Let’s see your license,” you DO NOT tell him he’s foolish for asking and refuse to show your license. IT’S THE LAW. The President of the United States of America is not above the law, and the law says he must be a natural born citizen.
