Do the arithmetic Filo and tell us how a person can exist by spending so little as to profit from a rebate check, and then tell us HOW MUCH you believe THEY CAN PROFIT PER MONTH by spending less and collecting a $196 rebate. Give some estimates Filo. You do have back-up for your hallucinating spew don’t you?

As I've already said in this thread, anyone whose entire income is the prebate and anyone who is making less than 2x the prebate is paying less in taxes than they are being given.

It's really simple math, fool.

If the annual prebate was $100 and the tax rate is 30% then someone given $100 and spending it all would pay $30 in taxes for the year.

Someone earning $200 a year, getting a $100 prebate and spending it all would be paying $90 in taxes.

In both cases these folks are being given free money - they are paying less in taxes than they receive.
