Sigh... I had one that was blue and in perfect shape. Great car to drive but really lousy build. There weren’t any bars in the doors so if you got t-boned you were doomed. Both the front and rear bumpers were incredibly flimsy but still. it was an awesome car. I’m looking for another ‘69 but I need A/C!!!!!

When California instituted Cash for Clunkers in the early 90's all sorts of "K"-Street full page adds occurred on Hemmings with newly formed Advocacy Groups to protect Classics.

You guessed it, the wrote the laws so that they were included, the law of unintended consequences.
