LOL! It’s old Soviet parade uniforms with piping and excessive fur trimming added.

There is nothing more military-looking than drab/khaki/olive colors. Dark blue for parade, white for summer is ok.

The international (alas the US is leading) trend towards gaudy, colorful uniforms is ridiculous.

Even when I was in, 1980's I thought the the whole uniform attention was gay, staff pukeish. I kept getting bolo badge awards for showing up and doing my job. It was sad and pathetic and made me question the quality of the organisation( 82nd, SF ). Real soldiers are muddy, dusty, dirty, like real construction workers.

What a real officer looks like.

I have a personal notion that the more medals, guadyier uniforms, the fakier is the military. It is a sign, a symptom of a decayed, decaying officer corps, or a military in which the tasks its self are not self evident or rewarding.
