I think that depends which group's fundamental conservative issues. For some here fundamental conservative issues means being anti-abortion, where as for others it has to do with the size and scope of the Federal Government. While Bush upheld the pro-life agenda he was horrible when it came to fiscal responsibility and limited government.

Furthermore, to belabor the topic to the point of incredulity, as is often demanded by “Team Romney” members for reasons unknown yet oft speculated over, Mitt is a multi-topic offender. He hits on a number of points across the full spectrum of Conservative issues, not just a select few.
He just happens to hit in the wrong direction...
