Who is a traitor?

Liberal "maverick" socialists disguised as Republicans that "reach across the isle" and borrow a knife to stab conservatives in the back...

Our domestic enemies are far more dangerous to our liberty than our foreign enemies ever will be.

"Our domestic enemies are far more dangerous to our liberty than our foreign enemies ever will be."

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."

Quote by: Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 B.C.) Roman Statesman, Philosopher and Orator

I believe you somewhat about domestic enemies. We can be destroyed by either. The outside destroys by making us weak and the inside destroys the same way; only the tools are different.

The real problem is that it is easy to see the outside more than the inside.

I only asked because it did appear to me that individuals who might be voting for someone more as a way to avoid a larger kind of evil are being castigated and I don’t think that is right.

If we want to have candidates worthy of our vote, we need to vote for them. I voted for John McCain and regardless of what people on here think of him, he served this country and if he were in office today, I do not think we’d be trying to push against the tide of what is happening right now - ala Freedom of Choice Act; universal health care coming to a town near you; and so on.

I am as heartbroken as the next patriot on this site - just heartbroken. Moreso, because I see these despicable people as not only going against what this nation was built upon, but going against the very commands of God almighty, and let me assure you that my love, devotion, and loyalty go to God above all else.

So thank you for your kind response.

P.S. And I think it was despicable to see Obama go overseas and insult America and then bow to that Saudi king - esp. disconcerting when you think that this country was founded specifically NOT to be a monarchy.
