I'm not as critical of Doctors. I have some DR.friends. They didn't start earning until they were in their mid-30's. One is an Orthopedic surgeon. His malpractice insurance costs more than $3 million a year, with 2 doctors in the office. He came out of college owing more than $300K.

My friends dad was also a Doc, a now 80 yr old GP. He has traded his services for chickens! He delivered a baby for a canoe! He never took money from people who couldn't pay.

Doctors aren't the problem. Blame the gum't and the insurance companies... and the Pharmas are now basking in the same flow of money, as well! It's all about the Benjamins!

Those are the kind of doctors I like.

I agree that the insurance companies are a big part of the problem, and the government welfare system and those who abuse it. I have known some good doctors in my life. I have also known a lot of bad doctors who gouged people.

Like any profession you have the good and the bad.
