B) Apologize to her was a joke. She accused me of being a “holly roller”. I said I was not, then admitted to being a Buddy Holly fan, thus making me a actuality a “holly roller”. I am still not a “holy roller” though.

I was totally joking about that part - sorry if that was unclear - thought you would get that from my lines about offering her mercy and so on...guess I should have used an /s tag after the joke part. I would never expect you to apologize for doing what is right, and that was my point.
