They need to re-listen to Rush at CPAC. Two or three times perhaps.

I don’t mind this, as long as conservatives compete toe-to-toe with this group, that has quite a bit of moderates. We could say that conservatives got the ball rolling with the tea-parties and now some of the moderates are doing the same. I do appreciate competition and debate.

They fail to talk about "wedge issues". The day the GOP softens is stance on abortion and so-called gay marriage is the day I leave the GOP.

We will never control the government again as long as we try to be “Liberal Lite”.
This nation has consistently polled 64% conservative or somewhat conservative for years and years.
Republicans must return to Conservatism. These three men don’t “get it”.

Can't we arrange some sort of Prisoner swap and return Romney to Rinoistan if they will release Rick Santorum.

When the GOP turned their backs on the Right to Life, and condoned same sex marriage is when it lost it’s backbone - the conservative sector. We now have only one political party in America, and if Romney and Bush are on that planning committee, they are part of the problem, not the solution.

So far all I see is lets shoot it down before we see what ideas come out of it. That makes real sense and is exactly why we lost the election and filled the Senate and House with RATS. Keep up the BS and we will end up with nothing again. Why, for a change, act grown up and filter all ideas and put together something beside BS complaints.

All I can to Romney is please sir go away. You didn’t win last time with your Hillary Care program and compassionate conservative II campaign. I don’t want universal health insurance. I don’t want global warming initiatives. I don’t want your Massachusetts values. Try getting elected and actually governing as a conservative and then maybe I’ll consider you. I swear if they try to shove Romney down our throats again I’m done with the GOP. It was hard enough supporting McCain but at least the man had a fairly conservative voting record outside of the immigration and campaign finance issue something which Mr. Romney doesn’t have. He has money and good looks and the GOP needs principles not a used car salesman to trick America into voting for him. Also I have not forgotten how Mr. Cantor voted for the Bush Bailout and with the Democrats on their AIG bill of attainder. McCain was just a pain in the ass but I knew where he stood and could reconcile myself with that but Romney I have no idea but what he says now which is entirely different than what he said yesterday and two years ago.
Maybe I’m wrong but I am sick of his type of seemingly unprincipled politician. Romney has a long way to go to prove himself because I’m not up for anymore faith based politics where Republicans are concerned.
