ICE Cores to prove the age of the earth?

let’s do the math.

Assume 80 Million years (as claimed in the dino article) a mere instant of supposedly earths’ history

If you have a 2 THOUSANDTH’s of an inch thick for each layer, in 80 Million years, that’s

13,333 FEET of Ice Core or over 2 MILES DEEP.

At best ice core can be used to prove tens or at most hundreds of thousands of years, NOT MILLIONS.

So, let's do the math 3 Kilometers = 1.8 miles

Plenty of ice, plenty of layers, plenty of time, and we got the core.

The cores for Greenland aren't as comprehensive because sometimes it melts down a lot at the bottom.
