I am entirely open to the FAIR tax concept as an alternative to what we have now: an UNFAIR tax; it is a tax on effort, on productivity, on value, and ultimately, on justice.

Thanks. I agree. Any tax on income is not only a tax on productivity but is also one of the planks in Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto. BTW, The Fair Tax will be a flat tax on consumption as it will impose one rate at the point of sale.
