My "served" has the same meaning as your "seated" ... ie: I actually heard two cases and renderd 1/12 of a verdict on them.
I hope you don't think I'm among the "less educated and experienced" ... you'd be ... wrong.
I would never make any assumptions about your education/experience. I'm just telling you what my experience has been.
I have reported for duty (served - which is all that is required of citizens), but never seated on a jury.
