I was a Democrat and liberal, then Declined to State, until I realized that there are only two adult tables, the Republicans and the Democrats. Republicans best represent my values. Being Republican doesn’t mean that I am any less independent. Like you I am a strong conservative and constitutionalist. The Republican Party is a big tent. Their history is one to be proud of, freeing slaves, being first to give women the right to vote, starting the civil rights movement (Martin Luther King was a Republican), fighting tyranny, liberating millions, bringing down the Berlin Wall thereby reuniting a county, standing up for the unborn, and the list goes on. I’ll never be a Democrat again, nor will I vote for one.

Yeh, I was a Republican, but just don’t agree with the majority of the party anymore. It’s not Republican...and I don’t want to be a part of the “RINO” party.

That said, I also want “them” to know, I am no longer a Republican. Maybe if they see us conservatives move away from them, they’ll get the message. Maybe.
