Lol.
When I was a youngster on active duty one of the older NCO types told us a story on a slow night. He talked about when Clark AFB in the Phillipines closed for good because of the volcano. He said that while the volcano erupted and everyone rushed around like chickens with their heads cut off, him and a few of his buddies were out front of their barracks. He said him and all of his guys got drunk and listened to some thrash metal while ash poured down on them.
Basically, he told us in a situation like that you can either be calm and savor the moment or run around in a crazy frenzy.
