Have you had boosters since then? I’m not a doctor, but IIRC basic college biology, with some diseases you develop permanent immunities, while with others you have to have boosters to keep those immunities going over time—maybe some of our more biologically-minded FReepers can give more scientific details on how this works.
Of course, since this Mexiflu is a jumble of flus all mixed together (can you say ‘man made disaster advocates messing around trying to create biohazardous weapons’? I knew you could!) there’s a high probability that a ‘cure’ can’t be created, and we’re all screwed if we are susceptible to Mexiflu’s worst aspects!!
