A hundred or so people gathered around the Arch in Valley Forge to continue the newly minted tradition of a "Tea Party". One participant spoke on the difference between astroturfing, a technique perfected by dem activists and true grassroot activities, like the nationwide Tea Party:

The true magic of these rallies comes when ordinary citizens step up to the mike and speak from the heart:

CO2 TAX/CAP AND TRADE, THE NEW TEA TAX

We need to take more-effective steps: http://pushbackuntil.com. Be in D.C.!
Terrific day for it.
The work of the TEA PARTY activists is absolutely gratifying - but please REMEMBER - it is only the BEGINNING... you must find a next step - a goal... a goal laced with objectives along the way...
I suggest mounting OPERATION: LAME DUCK - freeze the Members of the U.S. House and Senate who are up for re-election in 2010 — FREEZE THEM IN PLACE... make them so concerned that they won’t be re-elected that they become ‘DO NOTHINGS’ - Do nothings to the extent that they resist the pressure of Pelosi and Reid and SIT ON LEGISLATION that would enable Obama’s rabid - radical agenda... mount faxing, telephoning and emailing campaigns to hound those who would further Obama’s insane agendas...
Hot weather hampered the turn out, however, about 300 people showed-up to witness a great show.
Here are a couple of highlights. The organizers are identified as the Pofessor, wearing red slacks, and Smith, with the straw hat.
Smith, a rare political activist, is the founder of the grass roots organizations, Dump Dodd 2010 and Reject Reid 2010 .
He and his side-kick, Dr. D of Reno, Nevada, plan on performing a Dual Dem-ectomy at both ends of America, by removing both Harry Reid AND Chris Dodd from the Senate!
Ping - I estimated the count at about 150 or so.
I’m in the same ballpark, though my count wasn’t head by head, 120.
