Bravo Bravo! In to the pits of hell and back again.
We should have leader boards to measure these guys on their performance.
She would be near or at the top.
As good as she is I do wish she had hammered home more the point that saving lives is a concrete good while “looking good in the eyes of the world” is an empty abstraction.
The idiot across from the table from her said something to the effect that what little information we got wasn’t worth lowering our image in the world.
I dearly wish Liz would have laid into her on that, something like:
So saving American lives is a small thing to you, while looking good in the eyes of the world is more important?
But regardless, Liz is great. I hope to see more of her.
