and the CDC responds saying "no can do", saving all we can for our NE liberal friends.
“I had a little bird/ Its name was Enza/ I opened the window/ And In-Flu-Enza.”
From the link in post #20
“The virus is an influenza A virus, carrying the designation H1N1. It contains DNA from avian, swine and human viruses, including elements from European and Asian swine viruses, said the CDC.”
IMO, this wasn’t a *natural* occurence.
Fer a minute there, I thought you said “Cibola”.
Oh Thank Goodness, the Janet is right on top of this. We are doomed!
Remember the story a few months ago about arabs dying while playing with bio weapons in africa? Connection?
Multiply that by ten, maybe a hundred thousand, in every state, then we can talk. Is there is a more easily transmissible disease than influenza? I don't think so. I've been completely smacked down for almost a week now, with symptoms that match to a 'T' those described for this flu. Still feel like I've been run over by a cement truck. Must have caught it locally, but I'm not in one of the states mentioned by the CDC. This is the most mobile society on earth, tracking something like this only seems possible after the damage, if any, is done.
This is TAKS week - lots of tests - until Friday (which is the beginning of UIL Regional Track - which is why TAKS had to be moved from Friday to Monday).

PAPER: Americans told to wear masks...
Doctors in America are advising worried patients to buy painters masks as a precaution against the global outbreak of swine flu that appears to have spread from Mexico to the United States, New Zealand and possibly Europe.
As of today, the US was still allowing people to cross the border from Mexico where it is thought the swine flu emerged last week
although customs officials at the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa border crossings were given protective masks. It is thought that eight people in US border towns have gone down with swine flu, and tonight Mayor Michael Bloomberg said that a further eight cases have been confirmed among students in New York.
