You are probably right, and the vaccine given to them would just be wasted, in the process diverted from someone it might actually help.
Vaccines merely activate the immune system. HIV/AIDS people essentially have no immune system to activate.
Interesting thing is that immunosuppressed people don’t get the cytokine storms that kill you so fast with flu,,I am immunosuppressed so it would kill me slower,,Heh heh. And Aids people are immunosuppressed so probably wouldn’t get those storms either.
Your own immune response is a killer or at least in the 1918 epidemic where people died in a day. Now some died later of pneumonia and complications after weeks sometimes. And they relapsed.
I hate the flu.
