Too bad he didn't mention Chris Matthews, another liberal shill guilty of media malpractice.

“Too bad he didn’t mention Chris Matthews, another liberal shill guilty of media malpractice.”

If he mentioned them all, he’d be there all night;)

I went where angels fear to tread a few times, in order to see what passes as “journalism” from the other side. We know Fox is conservative, but for anyone to watch MSNBC and b....ellyache about Fox is the definition of hypocrisy. Olbermann is simply rageful (and obsessed with Fox) and Rachel Maddow pontificates with such twisted rhetoric I couldn’t even follow....

Ahhh... Garofalo is such a good little foot soldier for the left. Soon she will get a White House appointment for her good deeds.

The big problem for the left with the tea parties is it prevents “we tried” stage of the socialist takeover plan to unfold with minimum resistance.

The tea parties at this stage of the coupe were not expected and threaten the whole operation.

Therefore, by-any-means applys and we see the left’s attempt now to minimize and discredit the tea parties with shocking clarity.

I’m looking forward to July 4th.

“We know Fox is conservative,”

WE don’t know that. The other networks are so Liberal, they would make anyone, including FOX, look Conservative in comparison.

I think he was speaking to them all. Good for Lou Dobbs.

Toward the end, he also said there is a big shift in ideology away from the left.

"The tea parties at this stage of the coupe were not expected and threaten the whole operation."

The tea parties at this stage are pretty calm and laid-back;
that won't always be true.

Keep in mind that the "Shot Heard 'Round the World" came several years after the Boston Tea Party...

The tea parties at this stage ..

Unless the tea parties begin to target specific candidates and politicians of the liberal & tyranical Obama cabal BY NAME... it will continue to be nothing but a vent for right wing hot air.

(And I am one who directly helped organize a very successful tea party in my county on Apr. 18)

This "lower tax reduce spending" message is OK for normal times, but we are facing increasingly tyrannical takeovers from Washington statist Democrats.... and to simply complain around the edges on spending is futile.

Unless we directly articulate the dangers from Obama and Napolitano and the pro-UN crowd in WashingDC... we will be nothing but process protesters with little effect.

Dump (your local liberal Democrat congress-tyrant)!!

THAT should be embedded in all future Tea Parties.

"Stop Obama From Destroying America" should be another slogan we use nationwide.

No more pussyfooting around, my friends.

The next step for the Tea Parties should be OPERATION LAME DUCK... focus on hammering Dems and RINOS up for election in 2010 - freeze them ‘in place’ with total fear of not being re-elected...

I don’t have to explain it to you guys — as I have to - to others...

From this day forward - rally calls, faxes and emails ...

There’s nothing wrong with being “conservative.” I believe most Americans are. Even Democrats. Hence the high viewership numbers and rancorous vilification by MSNBC.

“Unless the tea parties begin to target specific candidates and politicians”

At the very successful Tea Party I attended (in Madison WI of all places) there was very specific and well articulated targeting of individual politicians and the dangerous activities they support.

FYI

I hope we see more, many more - memorial day, 4th, Thanksgiving, etc etc.

Right - I used to get mad but anymore I can’t even take MSNBC seriously. There are some intelligent and interesting liberals but that MSNBC crew is more like a bunch of immature juveniles - totally predictable in their personal attacks and trash TV style. In other words, they’re liberals with NO ABILITY!

Here is what the tea parties were all about:

“We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.

We must make our election between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude.

If we run into such debt, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our calling and our creeds... [we will] have no time to think, no means of calling our miss-managers to account but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers...

And this is the tendency of all human governments.

A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for [another ]... till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery...

And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt.

Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression.”

— Thomas Jefferson
(1743-1826), US Founding Father, drafted the Declaration of Independence, 3rd US President

I agree with that. It’s amazing to me that Fox ever hired him. He’s universally considered by ALL journalists - conservative, liberal, independent - as a mountebank and a fraud. By the way, he’s also an ethnocentric advocate of illegal immigration.
