Hillary Clinton called Dick Cheney a liar yesterday at a press conference.
Can we expect Bela Pelosi to be called a liar publicly as well?
IOW, they couldn't be bothered to actually do their fricking jobs and show up to the briefings, so now they're going to complain they weren't told.
You know, I actually don’t think that she is lying. She seems to be scatter brained enough, that she could/would forget or just not know almost anything.

I doubt that the GOPers have anything to fear unless they come out on the side of Zero and the administration wanting to bring criminal charges against the authors of the memo. The “authors” mind you. Lawyers giving a legal opinion.
Why doesn’t the alphabull networks and their cable flunkies through THAT question up on their polls — “Do you approve of the Administration’s plan to file criminal charges against those that proposed or engaged in enhanced interrogation techniques?”
If Zero continues with this, there will be different signs showing up at the next TEA party.

That would be such justice. She wanted to annihilate President Bush and did everything she could to do so. Now, the sow is in the hot seat - couldn't happen to a better person (although that slot has a lot of people on my list). Let's count how many times she blinks.
I’m not surprised or disturbed that she is lying. I’d be surprised if she didn’t lie about this.
It is much more disturbing that she believes this is a lie sufficient and persuasive enough to get her off this particular hook. Put another way, what idiot would believe this streaming pile of offal she’s offered up?
“She’s lying through her teeth”. Make that dentures.
This means only one of two things:
1. Our representatives admit that they can't be trusted to keep secrets.
Or
2. Our representatives admit that they'd prefer to put Party before Country, and don't want their hands tied with confidentiality restrictions.

Well, if she’s getting paid to either look good or sound coherent, somebody is due a refund.
This whole thing has been about Obama neutralizing Pelosi. Pelosi’s denial was exactly what Obama wanted her to do; She lied and she is now for all intents and purposes going to have to do what she is told, when she is told by Obama or she will be looking for a job.
I could swear I saw news report yesterday detailing what Senators actually saw water boarding and openly wondered if it were effective enough. In fact, they argued for harsher techniques.
I recall that Nancy Pelosi was one those Senators.

If they don’t attend the meeting, they are not bound by the secret nature of the information. Seems like I remember some of this stuff going on in the late 60’s early 70’s...
Also looks like she’s playing the “just because we gave authorization doesn’t mean we said it was okay and we thought Bush was actually going to do it” ploy
