Now it does say that this should not happen for "light and transient causes" and that this should only be a resort after "a long train of abuses and usurpations." We're only in the first 4 months of this administration and most of what Obama wants to do are still only proposals. We still have the 2010 elections before us and the 2012 elections after that so, while we reserve the right, as guaranteed in our founding documents, to "abolish" a government that has become destructive to our natural rights, we still have remedy within the existing system to prevent or correct the "usurpations" this administration desires to inflict upon us. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Well I consider the train of abuses and ursurpations a very long one, indeed. To wit:
- Agents of power have schemed to grant a priavte entity ultimate control of the nations money, via the Federal Reserve Act, in direct contradiction to the US Constitution. Such legislation as was passed to authorize it, we now know, was cooked up in secret meetings by a cabal of bankers, was based on torrid lies reported as news, and was preceeded by a created panic brought forth for the specific purpose of forcing said Fed Bank on the USA. (1913)
- In contradiction to the US Constitution the Executive branch has continually taken on powers not granted to it, such as price setting, wage setting, property confiscation, and many others via executive orders promulaged continuously since Woodrow Wilson. The Executive Branch has sighted a state of emergency and legislation passed in the run-up to WW1 (WW1!) almost 100 years ago to promulgate and endless stream of executive orders.
- Has caused to be erected a series of blatently unconstitutional programs under the guise of solving the supposed "emergencies", and ensured that these programs continue long past the end of emergency of the Great Depression which was the proximate cause. These include Social Security, Medicare and other coercive socialist programs which are explicitly denied the Federal Government without Constitutional Ammendment. (FDR-present)
- Imperial executive has threatened the judiciary for the purpose of intimidaiton to impose on America blatently unconstitutional programs. (FDR)
- Federal Government has failed to live within the means provided, at significant cost, by American citizens in the form of tax payments, resulting in a ever-larger ocean of debt which they now wish to chain our children to. (1960 to the present)
- After an epic struggle costing the lives of many brave Americans on both sides of the confict was over and Slavery was abolished the Government has instituted race-conscious laws in violation of our Constitution's equal protection clause and the natural laws of our creator
- FedGov has required and permitted, via a near-endless series of laws on everything from agricutlture to urban sprawl, the growth of government at all levels, which has now multplied and grown to the point that ordinary citizens are overwhelmed with costs, rules, regulations, and bureacrats with prohibitions, fines, studies, fees, licenses, requirements, ordinances, handicap rules, that the ability to breath freely has been choked out of our lives and our children's lives.
I could (and should, and will) go on, but the things I am incensed about are not products of Barry's three months as POTUS, or even Nancy's three years as Speaker. They are the fundamentals of the United Socialist State that FDR (principally) set up and stuck us with that the libtards insist we must make work, even though it is a fundamentally flawed and unconstitutional design. I for one no longer am intersted in arguing with illiterate non-citizen mobs who have seized control of LA and soon all of California and are busily bankrupting it, nor making deals with the corrupt East Coast politicians and their Wall Street handlers. I simply would like to reorganize into a polity that is smaller, more homogenuous, and not so full of imperial bluster. What good is the worlds mightiest military (in Iraq) when Arizona is subject to a kidnapping wave to equal anything seen in Bhagdad, 1/2 of my income goes to maintain the huge edifice of FedGov that does almost nothing postive for me, and meanwhile continually scolds me about everything from the propensity to "cling" to my guns to my proclivity for daily showers. What exactly are you waiting for? I don't get it. The end is here. Lets act while we can and salvage something for our children and grandchildren. We sure as hell can not salvage Los Angeles, New York or Massachusetts. Let it go, man, let it go. It is no good to force people who hate you to live by your rules. At best we are going to struggle to play king of the hill forever. Donkey's sway the stupid 10% and abortion is paid for, Reps sway em and it's not. Can you really say that another 10 or 20 years of this is going to do ANYTHING positive for us? I can not, and am happy to start discussing other options.
Just maybe this last nightmare{Election} will send more searching for solutions? If we still had a Republic..Electing a President wouldn’t be so scary! Liberal vs Liberal with one bright spot-Palin
