And I know who we have to thank for this situation: Hegel, Marx, Gramsci, and Marcuse (with Harry Hay and good old "Grampa Walton" Will Geer thrown in for good measure).
Meanwhile while this is going on the moslems wage a parallel campaign for islamic "theocracy" and the two ("gays" and fundamentalist moslems) never seem to come into the slightest conflict (as I have said before, it's like old time professional wrestling, where the "heels" never get mad at each other despite the fact that each one claims to be "the greatest of all time"). I keep waiting and waiting for the inevitable clash (which has already come in Europe), but it doesn't look as though it will ever come here.
In America the forces of the "thesis" are just one, big, happy family.
ZC:
I'm with you and I used to get angry and frustrated about things. But then it became clear. The nation and culture changed SO quickly because we banned faith from schools, adults stopped going to church, and something else had to fill the vacuum.
Dennis Prager documented that throughout human history, when mankind abandoned fundamentally decent principles, homosexuality and craven behavior always filled the void. Homosexuality is not the cause, but it is definitely one of the primary symptoms.
As a Christian, I also believe that evil, e.g., Satan, runs amok and uses the faithless void to take over hearts. That's how a child can turn so dramatically against the established culture of his parents.
So I've stopped wringing my hands about it. I'm middle-aged and realize that all I can do is vote, raise my children right, stay involved in my church, and have an impact on those within my orbit. Also, I pray that God's will be done, in spite of all this folderol. Because matters have been far more evil and degenerate in the past.
As the Book of Ecclesiastes says, "there is nothing new under the sun."
