Will this be like the Nazi Youth Corps, or the Soviet Pioneers?
Obviously it will be designed to look like the Boy Scouts, but operate like socialist/Marxist indoctrination centers.

"Office of Social Innovation"

We have a congressional election in a year and a half. We must take back Congress and stop this madness.

Let's stop nitpicking candidates to death because they are not perfect. Let's send messages to Michael Steele and to the state Republican Organizations, that we need conservative candidates and that we will support them. The criminals in Congress and the Totalitarians in the White House are killing us. We have to stop losing elections.

Government control of donations of both time and money from volunteers. Unnecessary and draining to non-related charities.

This will be another colosal dud.

This is just an expansion of the Clinton Americorps
which failed.

A peace Corp bust-out program.

Should we hold our collective breaths waiting for the two major trash-worthy "news"papers to reveal the amount of expenditure per hired volunteer this boondoggle will cost us taxpaying suckers?

Will their reports also hint at the irony of naming this for a drunkard who took away all opportunities for his victim, young Mary Jo?

Regards . . . Penny

the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act

This Compulsory Volunteer Act is meant to honor Senator Edward Kennedy, who honored America when he put his duty to stay in the Senate representing the good people of Massachusetts over his duty to save the life of a young campaign worker who drowned in his car because he was too drunk to navigate the bridge and plunged into the pond, and then had to go invent a story and pretend he was never there so that his political career would not be over, so he dressed in normal dry clothing and created an alibi but then had to admit he was there after all but concocted some other flimsy stories about where he was headed with her and how he had not been drinking and how he was not going to the beach to try and shtup her but taking her to the ferry which had been long closed by that time.

Anyway, poor Mary Jo Kopechne did not get to live long enough to have her children and grandchildren concerned about her brain tumor. She only lived 7 hours, which was all the pocket of air in the submerged car gave her. Kennedy needed those hours to sleep off his alcohol. Again, we are commemorating a great man with this Act.

What a prophetic image which has come home to roost.

Love this one of the young Kenyan lad before he became a Christian.

But Senator McCain sees the issue through the prism of his military service, a perspective that ServiceNation has worked to nurture by involving military leaders in all of its activities.

McCain is the perfect dupe.

But Senator McCain sees the issue through the prism of his military service,

WHich was volunteer, not conscripted, as the son of an Admiral who was the son of an Admiral.

He was not drafted, like our kids (grandkids)will be.

Maybe his tubby loudmouth daughter can shed a fes pounds in boot camp....

A month ago my son was highly upset over this and I told him it would never happen in America. Now I have to apologize.
