Border’s and Architectural Digest :-(

I read on another site that Macy’s, Dillard’s, Ann Taylor, Office Depot and Home Depot are in jeopardy.

Yes. It is crazy. Since I buy most of all my clothes at Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, and J Crew, I am going to look like a vagabond in a year or so—LOL. Heck maybe I'll have to relearn to sew clothing. I always enjoyed Architectural Digest but purchased it intermittently. Looks as though I am not the only one.

Home Depot? Estes Express will be hit hard if HD goes down.

Around my neck of the woods, Home Depot caters very aggressively to the illegal alien driven construction industry. You practically have to speak spanish in there. I wouldn’t miss them.

Another recent list said Krispy Kreme. I think KK may just go back to being a regional favorite, fine with me...I live in the region. ;)
I order most books through Amazon, but I often stop at Borders and pick up something spur of the moment when I don’t want to wait for Amazon to ship lol and I’m a member of the Amazon second day shipping club. I prefer Borders to B&N or Books a Million.

I liked Architectural Digest. Subscribed to it for years. But who has the disposal income for magazines or for decorating their homes anymore?
