Specter is a hemorrhoid on the alimentary canal of the Republican Party. When he comes down and hangs down, he is a pain in the ass. When he withdraws, you just hope he has gone away, butt it never fails that he sticks his fat head out to betray us again. Please, let us take a surgical knife and remove him from our body politic. We have strained enough to rid ourselves of this foreign body but failed to realize that he needs to be detached and discarded. If we don’t, he will bleed us to death.

As for John Cornyn, we Texans are watching. Take heed of the 17,000 Tea Party in your hometown. We meant business, even for accomplices of such malefactors as Specter. Got it? Have you really got it? Hey Michael Stephen Steele! Same goes for you too.

Steele is an IDIOT. I have heard him sub for Bill Bennett a few times.

For example, the man read blurb’s from “Liberty and Tyranny” 2 weeks ago. He pronounced the author’s name “Mark Leveen” and pronounced a key concept word from the blurb and the book “statist” to rhyme with “mat-ist.”

Totally clueless, and certainly not a conservative.

I’m wondering if this is the price Specter is asking to tow the party line in a variety of issues. With the low numbers its obvious he has quite a bargaining power. Just a thought.

Arlen Specter should have had the grace to retire.

This proves with a doubt that we need new leadership in the Republican party, otherwise we may as well get used to many years of Marxist rule.

The Republican party will perform the impossible feat of losing more ground in an historic mid term election advantage.

Personally, I would prefer that Republicans lose that seat rather than retain it with Arlen Spector holding it. The same with the two cretins in Maine. Let’s cut our losses and get on with business.

Kick this hack out of the seat. Kick both of them out of their seats. We never needed Steele’s brand of politics.

Of course he is. Specter can probably win and hold the seat R regardless of what we think about him.

Specter sucks but that’s not Steeles problem. Winning R elections is Steeles problem.

This is a dumb issue, folks.

The NRSC as an organization ALWAYS supports ALL of their elected Republican incumbents. That’s just the nature of the organization. Same with the RNC.

I dislike Specter as much as anyone else here, but why is anyone surprised that the NRSC and the RNC are supporting him? He is an incumbent Republican.

You are right on, but how can one be a hemmorhoid and a @ick at the same time? We don’t need another McCain the RINO scenario. Our next candidate will be a true conservative. Otherwise, we as conservatives are set to lose again.

Michael Steele is a RINO too. Despite what many on this board have tried to tell us for some time now.

Specter is a disgrace.

His single vote could have stopped the stimulus bill.

As for Cornyn, it ticks me off - but . . .

I’m going to have to give him a pass on this. He’s the head of the Senate Election Committee, with the single purpose of increasing the number of R’s in the Senate. He may be right about Specter having a better chance to win. That being said, I’d rather lose the seat than keep another faux conservative. Of course I’m not the head of the Senate election committee !

I'm going to write Cornyn letting him know that I don't care if Specter could win in PA because he has been of no use for us being he always votes with the Rats.

Chairman@gop.com

EMAIL Michael Steele and tell him what you think.

Hopefully sometime later this year I’ll get a face to face with him when I’m in Baltimore.

I’m disgusted with Hutchinson already and NOW Cornyn. What the hell is happening to my state? Cornyn will get an earful if he sends me a letter asking to support the re-election of Specter and Cornyn is definitely on my extremist list. Left wing extremist that is.

Spectre has done more damage to the GOP and the country as a GOP senator than any freshman Dem senator could have.

From consistently arguing against conservative judges to brokering deals to crush GOP solidarity. He’s gotta go.
