President Obama shook hands with Venezuela's Hugo Chavez on Friday at the opening of the Summit of the Americas being held this weekend in Trinidad and Tobago.

It wasn't immediately clear Friday evening what words were exchanged between the two leaders, but photos released by the Venezuelan government show Obama clasping Chavez's hand and smiling broadly.

Why is Obama spending millions of dollars on lawyers to hide all of his records then?

I am with you on 2010 and will be fighting hard..but I truly believe there is a there there on the BC. We had all better hope there is something to it al,l because at this rate, our country will be gone by 2010.

Don't be. You are an American. The thug is not. Walk tall, and carry a big stick.

Me too.

It is fun to talk secession but we have too many enemies afoot who would take advantage of that.

I am also hoping some of the Obama voters will wake up and see the reality of what is going on. I really doubt Obama will gather more fans/voters as time goes on (unless they are illegally here hehe).

Yes, they quote Gingrich, but the article itself and title is rather stunning. I have been seeing more of this criticial stuff on Obama, in Japan, in Japanese, in the last few weeks.

The threat of a grassroots conservative Third Party should seriously concern the GOP.

"For the first time in my life I am ashamed to be an American."

Don't EVER EVER EVER be ashamed of being an American. They can strip us of our wealth, property, and (with a hellfire fight) our freedom, but they can NEVER take our pride!

Screen save just a few hours ago of controlled (as in, run by Chavez) COMMUNIST VENEZUELAN NATIONAL TV NETWORK TELESUR:

Our President at the Latin summit, where the communist "bro" handshake with Hugo Chavez and words of endearment were exchanged. Latin American media is just eating this Obama appeasement to Venezuela, Cuba, etc. stuff up--in Spanish.

"In the middle of these dark days I had the privilege to attend a tea party with fellow patriots. I believe you're correct. As the party was attended by both GOP Republicans and old time Democrats."

Good deal topfile! It's good to know that there are still old time Democrats who are with us!

“It is almost as if the man and his inner circle have some kind of sick DEATH WISH for the Republic, our good allies, and our very way of life...”

I agree completely. I am amazed every single day by this man who is intent on destroying this country. I knew he wished to do so, based on his rhetoric, associates, etc., but the rapid pace of destruction is jaw dropping.

I was thinking that their idea of an evening banquet would to bring out the wolves and lions in the tradition of the Romans and let the Christians’ screams cause their glee and merriment.
First, the Saudi King and now Chavez. I have seen more than enough to substantiate my worst fears about this impostor.

This is after Chavez called Obama an “ignoramus” last week. It appears Obama is the beta/submissive dog on the world stage. ....and the other dogs can smell it.

Look at this handshake, Obama's handshake is frail and weak. Chavez in this single
handshake has absolutely no respect for this weak man called Obama, the Leader of
the free world, and the leader of the most powerful nation on earth.

Chavez has his entire hand in a death grip.

God Help us All.

I'm only saying that this information will never see the light of day until it no longer matters. Look the Supreme Court ignores it at every opportunity. OK I'll pray with you but I'll also put my energy into 2010.

Sorry, just had to lighten thing up a bit.

Is anyone really surprised??? What I am wondering is if bo is stupid, naive or outright trying to take down this country.

I'm amazed that he's so open about his affronts. He's showing no circumspection. Maybe he thinks he's bullet-proof. After all, he did survive the Rev Wright tapes, the "bitter clinger" remarks, the coal industry remarks....Maybe he thinks he can do anything, that the forces of history will bear him along no matter what he does.

Let him think so. He's alienating swathes of the electorate at a record pace. There's no more Bush to hate, so all eyes are on Zero. Let him NOT be interested in the tea parties. Let him demonize vets as potential McVieghs. The conditions are developing for a '94 style political tsunami. If only there was some leadership!! If more guys on top (e.g. Gov Perry) would speak up, the regular folks will get energized. We really do need to win big in 2010. We may be out of time after that.
