RE: “Ahhh... the ‘lowest common denominator’ theory. Like why my daughter can’t take a bottle of water to school... because someone at one time put vodka in their water bottle.”

***********

Makes me laugh — back in the sixties I took some bourbon from a house (I was babysitting there) and put it in a cleaned out cologne bottle I had, stuck it in my purse and added it to the “punch” they sold in the cafeteria at lunchtime.

Boy, did I think I was getting away with something! That was way before the days of people carrying water with them wherever they went and before cell phone or even pocket calculators!

No one went through purses back then or questioned a thing. Funniest part was that I got absolutely NO “high” from this silliness at all. A few drops of bourbon in a big cup of punch is not gonna give anyone a buzz...........but it sure was fun.

I poured some premixed tequila sunrise leftover from one of my parents patio parties into a container, like it was my lunch. I was too buzzed from getting away with it to get buzzed! lol
