France is a Nuclear Power and has Mirage Jets armed with Nuclear weapons.
Nicolas Sarkozy is President of France. He hates Socialists, and always calls a Spade a Spade.
Another thing about France - my gut feel - not necessarily backed by facts but more by feel.
The French can be quite cruel to their enemies. I personally would not want to be on the bad side of some pissed off French special forces, or legionnaires or whatever. I just get the sense that they wouldn’t bother too much with the
social graces. What happened in 1789 is perhaps a manifestation of that - an Napoleon was no Emily Post either.
