OK.... whatever one's opinions on the matter of the techniques themselves, it's a damned-fool thing to release these memos to the public.

For proof, one need look no further than the unintended consequences of the disclosures of what those dumb-sh*ts did at Abu Ghraib prison. The acts themselves, and more particularly the embellishment of them, turned out to be an outstanding recruiting tool for the insurgents in Iraq.

Obama apparently wants to be perceived as honest and above-board, but he clearly has no sense of what those disclosures will lead to down the road. It is, one suspects, more about his own feelings than about responsible presidential behavior.

He fails to take into account the propaganda value that these memos will undoubtedly have among those who are already vulnerable to Taliban overtures.

God save us from Obama's malignant and adolescent narcissism.

I disagree, theOne bows down to Islamic leaders, he knows full well what he is doing. Don't excuse him.
