If the liberals’ socialist tyranny continues, I’d say, go for it!

We could be energy independent, secure the border, deport every single illegal immigrant and declare ENGLISH as our official language!

It appears Texas is about to join states such as Oklahoma, Indiana, and South Dakota in the 10th Amendment craze that is sweeping the nation. These states and others are introducing, and in some cases now passing, Resolutions of Sovereignty. The 10th Amendment to the Constitution is quite simple, and declares: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. In populist terms, these declarations are currently expressions of public disgust at Washington’s behavior in the wake of the financial crisis. While this may seem quaint, these declarations are legal platforms for future secession from the Union. http://gregor.us/oil/the-oil-and-gas-republic-of-texas/

If Texas goes, we won't be alone. I'm pretty sure that almost all the states north of us and several of our southern neighbors would want in on the party.

We have three choices; secession (divorce), we can expel the lefties to the socialist utopia of their choice, or we surrender to the statists. With the first two choices, America remains America. With the last choice, America becomes Europe.

The Left will never surrender. They will never give up. They will continue to push us into Communism if they stay.
