As far as I can tell, they’re more wussified and obedient now than they’ve ever been. You have an interesting perspective — care to elaborate?

Funny you used the term “wussified”. I typed the exact same word in my post before I erased it. I think we live in a divided America where people in states like Texas and OK would support secession as a last resort to maintain their freedom, while that the Americans in states that would be most opposed couldn’t stomach the killing of their own countrymen when they couldn’t even stomach a tremendously successful war half way around the world where we sustained only 4000 deaths, tragic as each one was. Nevertheless, I think state nullification of federal laws might be a more tenable position and achieve the same purpose. However, secession and the creation of a new currency may be the only choice if the American dollar hyperinflates.

Strange days we live in.
