I’ve often thought, if the South seceded again, the biggest impact wouldn’t be economic.
It would be on the military....as in: I don’t think the North could raise an army without southerners to draw on.
(Of course, we’d have to turn West Point into South Point!).
Military also,we here will fight each other,if someone puts us down , we fight together.
