The small town of Fishkill, NY can proudly report that it came very close to filling it's stadium which holds 4300 people. 4100 is what I'd estimate.

The official poice estimate for Hartford, Connecticut was 5,000.

I was there. It was 5,000 pissed off (but well behaved) conservatives. If it weren't for the 60 degree weather, you would have thought you were in the heart of Texas, not New England.

We had the benefit of good weather, a good location and a well organized rally.

The Connecticut State Police estimated we had 5,000; my husband guessed 4,000.

3,000 or "over 1,000" (as our local FOX affiliate sniffed) was incorrect, I'm happy to report!
