BTW: I've met the organizer and he seems like a great guy.

If the weather had been better, I think we could have a least doubled turnout. Beautiful setting...just a bit nippy and damp. We can do it again. My sense, it was a subdued crowd...but they were ready to get rowdy if need be. However, I would tell the organizer.... I did not come to be told to call my congress critter about this and about that....I want them GONE. Time to clean house, and the Senate too.

I hear you on that. Sometimes I think we shouldn’t re-elect ANYBODY.

That having been said, I am not at all surprised he took the position of calling your Congresscritter:
He ran for the 1st district Congressional seat against G.K. Butterfield last time that came up. It is a heavily Democratic district so he really had no chance. However, I applaud him for making the effort (he got 30% as I recall).

I do not know him well, but next time I see him I will be sure to bring that up.
