Avoid it like the plague! I have occasion to use it, but only going west and rarely at that. So far, no tolls out this way.

Just got back from the Tea Party in Kingsport, TN. Nothing untoward happened at all... more like a patriotic rally with prayer, The Pledge, and The Star Spangled Banner. They made us all proud.
I’m guessing 1000 people showed up; although I’m not the best at judging crowds.

RE: “Just got back from the Tea Party held at City Hall in Lees Summit, MO. There were a couple of hundred people gathered who were more fired-up than the majority of the speakers. Lots of cops taking pictures of all of us radical right-wing extremists.”
******
Re “cops taking pictures” — I would not worry about that —even here in Los Angeles most police are pretty conservative types who side with “us” at events of this nature. They probably were enjoying the heck out of the whole thing, seriously.

John Ratzenburger (mailman on Cheers! on Fox News just now. When Cavuto asks him about Hollywood blacklisting affecting him, Ratzenburger says, "Ask me tomorrow." Very courageous to put himself out there like that. God Bless him!

Just returned from Tea Party in Bellevue, Washington. About a thousand Americans there to voice their protest about what is happening to our country.

Took a peek at CNN to see why people were so mad at them, and their announcer was talking about the Tea Parties. He asked if it was really a grass roots movement, or was some rich Republican paying them to be there. Same lie they told about the Swift Boat veterans...

Way to go Traverse City! I drove over to Lansing, very large croud, I’m guessing 5000-6000. Could be more?
If acorn was there, they were too cowardly to make themselves known. I’m full of optimism and I’m sure the congresscritters and zer0 are beginning to fear We The People.

RE: “..........I went back to work and mentioned to a couple of collegues about attending the tea party and either got a blank stare or they thought that I was talking about really drinking tea. We really need to get our message out to the people who are not paying attention to what is going on.”
*******
Um...methinks those blank stare folks are Obama’s voters!!! The “hopey/changey” crowd!
