Looks like the media is guilty of not doing basic research. That is no 50cal....it looks like a smattering of whatever they found with no thought if they go together.
The .50 cal RIFLE is on the table to the left.
I suspect the machinegun they are talking about is
in the back of the pickup in the two photographs,
a mini gun of some kind.
