Doesn’t support Jim Bunning in Kentucky. Then supports Arlen Specter. Yikes, I don’t think they get it at all.

This is the reason that I no longer support the national GOP. My wife still gives them money, but I am working on her. Likewise, to our local group of spineless worms. The two Kansas Senators, Pat Roberts and Sam Brownback have both publically proclamied their support for our baby killer Governor, Kathleen Sebelius. They have abandoned me, so I will abandon them.
99.5% of our politicians are only interested in what advances their career of graft and corruption. They will say and do whatever is required to ensure their reelections.

He’s always doing things like that. We need to get rid of the RINOS period. No backing down.

There is that one token liberal on there arguing every point, trying to get Republicans to become moderates and love Bambi.

I live in Pennsylvania and I am not voting for Specter. None of my family will vote for him. I vote in every election. No way. Elderly senators like Specter feel the need to run until they drop dead. He should should retire.

These idiots just don’t get what our tea parties are all about, do they?

I emailed Cornyn as a constituent TWICE asking his stand on Obama’s eligibility...never got anything but an autoreply saying they had received my inquiry and would respond soon.
Cornyn, YOU DONT GET IT...
As a lifelong Republican, I intend to work against Cornyn in 6 yrs...no matter what...he abandoned the conservative working people of the State of Texas in a dark hour...

He may be best to keep the (R) after the name ... however it would not matter if it went to a (D). They vote the same.

This dialectic of stupid Republicans (thesis) vs. evil Democrats (antithesis) has been going on since the administration of Franklin Roosevelt. At 76 years of age, the dialectic is about as old as Arlen Spector. Few if any politicians can resist the pressures in the imperial city, and John Cornyn is no exception. If Obama stumbles badly in his first term, and the Republicans regain Congress in 2010 and elect someone like Mitt Romney or Sarah Palin to the Presidency in 2012, they will do little to overturn the legacy of Obama and the Pelosi-Reid Congress if past history is any guide. No Republican President since Eisenhower, with the partial exception of Reagan on foreign policy and taxes, has reversed the socialistic initiatives of their Democrat predecessors.
America needs a real opposition party and not "Team B" of the Big Government establishment to fight the Democrats.

Folks in Pa., please pay no heed. Instead of running a conservative for president, we ran the candidate we thought would win. Stick to your principles. Toomey got screwed by the party before. He is the best candidate for Pa and one of the conservatives in the nation. The revolution has to begin with the first victory. That victory can be Pat Toomey!!!

I also wont be voting For Kay B Hutchinson for Governor or the Senate. Ditto!

Cornyn is one of the best senators we have, I can't believe the people here who would throw him under the bus because of this. Specter has made me mad more times than I can count, but sometimes he buckles under pressure, which is more than I can say about any Democrat. I don't see the strategy working, we now have one of the worse presidents in history sitting on top of an awesome approval rating. Yeah, it makes sense to me, lets just give this jerk even more power! Let's lose all our power and give them their veto proof Senate. I have no idea who is running against Specter, nor know his opponents chance of winning, but I presume Cornyn does.
I'll vote and support Cornyn when he runs again. I'm proud he is my Senator, especially compared to most of them.
BTW: I've never, ever seen one Republican on this web site that hasn't been shot down by at least a few of the "members." I sometimes think there is DU tampering going on here.
ALSO, is there a FR meeting place at the Alamo tomorrow? I would love to meet up with some of you.
