It's a Tea Party -- and it's revolutionary. On Tax Day, Wednesday, April 15, at 4:00 p.m., taxpayers from across Houston and Southeast Texas will gather in downtown Houston at Jones Plaza to protest unprecedented government spending in Washington. Wednesday is the deadline for mailing federal income taxes. Houston Tea Party

I didn't see a Houston Tea Party Thread.
I don't have all the answers as I've just decided to drive downtown from Clear Lake to attend.
If there is not a Houston Tea Party thread, this will be a good venue for Q&A, picture posting.

My CPA who works downtown says their office is closing tomorrow at 3:00pm so they can all attend.
They have printed fliers and had T-shirts made.

Also hear there is something in San Antonio KSEV 700AM (Houston) is going to (at the Alamo?).

I believe Glenn Beck will be in San Antonio, along with Ted Nugent.
Many others, I'm sure.

In the Clear Lake area I read that the Tea Party will be held at Clear Lake Park (Nasa 1) 6:00 pm tomorrow. I’m not sure if this is on the water side or the sports side. I received an email from TURF with this info.

I live and work in the Galleria area, so I don’t know downtown like the back of my hand...but I’ll give you what advice I can.
If you show up early, you can probably find some street parking a few blocks away. Metered parking is around a buck an hour, depending on the area of downtown, and no charge after 6 pm.
If you get there a little later and can’t find any street parking, try the garage on the west corner of Lamar & Smith; I usually have pretty good luck there. Then it’s just a 5-block walk to Jones Plaza. And if you bring your appetite, there’s a Pappa’s BBQ on the same block as that parking garage.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Any suggestions on finding a parking space? Fannin South Parking Lot... catch metro rail (the TEA Party Express) to Preston Station. Parking near Binz Station may be easier or at Fannin South Park & Ride.

Anybody know how many people Jones Plaza can hold? *It's across the street from the Post Office!!!* Bring a tea bag with your name on it, and ... monopoly money!
Also, there is TEA Party in Sugarland.

It’s on the water side of the park, in or around the Landholt building near the boat ramp. I might be there too.
