"This STILL took entirely too long. Also, if there is no retribution, towards the pirates on shore and in the other pirate boats, this stuff will only get worse."

Gimme a break. This is the best outcome anyone could hope for. Hostage situations always require patience. 3 of the 4 pirates killed, the 4th captured, the Captain safe. What more could we want?

For it to happen on the most profound Chrisitan holy day of all -- Easter Sunday in the face of Muslim pirates. And we got it. Our prayers were with Captain Richard Phillips. God spoke.

Kansas would complain if he was hung with a new rope.

Come on!

I am very glad this turned out well.

However, we all must ask: Why did the pirates NOT take any American hostages for, what, 200 years?

Why now, with Obama as President?

Also, there WILL be more attacks if we do not retaliate, and I doubt that any retaliation will be forthcoming.

The FUTURE is more important than the present, in ANY terrorist or hostage situation.

I am proud of our military, and I think the entire crew of the Mersk Alabama would make great neighbors -—

But this stuff has got to stop, and the French plus the Americans have, what now? TWO successful rescues after HOW MANY Pirate captures?

HOW MANY hostages do the pirates STILL hold?
