Ummm... Totally False. Ogonowski’s Campaign was backed by the GOP Establishment in DC and in Boston. He just failed to get the necesary signatures to get on the ballot.
I’m going on what I was told by a first hand witness that a clerk’s office in a certain town were disqualifying registered voters.
Yes, Ogonowski should have gone for more than the minimum 10k signatures, but, he didn’t and decided not to fight it in court.
He would have been the stronger candidate against Kerry. Oh well.
