does anyone realize the qualification to be accepted to the Merchant Marine Acadamy. Easier to get into West Point. God Bless the Merchant Marine!
Agreed. I used to live in NYC near the East (it's really a strait but everyone calls it a) River and recall more than once seeing the MM Academy's ship come by full of students yelling, waving, etc. on what I guess was their annual training cruise.
