I never thought I would live to see a US President that went out of his way to kiss the asses of our enemies while doing everything possible to antagonize our friends.

So, that means you aren't old enough to remember Carter.

ironically if you look at the exit polls, among those voters old enough to have remembered Carter(and even more so LBJ and the liberalism of the 60s) and his administration, McCain won handily.

Unfortunately, there’s a lot of folks around who don’t remembere, too young to have experienced a true liberal President. Clinton had moderate tendencies and after the 94 election he was neutered by the Congress, anyway. Obama is much more leftist than Clinton and has a huge majority.

They’ll just have to learn and hopefully 2012 will end up being like 1980.
