The Navy has air superiority and so does the Marines.

The Air Force could return to it’s Army Air Corps days and just test out new models.

Everything the Air Force does the Navy could easily do also. The Navy doesn’t have bombers but could add them aptly and without all the surplus budget.

However, no offense intended to the patriots serving in the U.S. Air Force today and in the past. The future too. The Air Force is way too politically correct and in the tank for BHO to ever be disbanded.

You started out being stupid and have somehow managed to go way, way down from there with this post. About all you have for an argument is your dislike for the air force. Clueless. So, what position in the obama administration do you assume?

You are absolutely, totally and without a doubt clueless about the AF mission. Since you won’t answer with clear facts here are a couple of rhetorical questions for you.

On what carrier is the Navy going to launch a B-52 or B-2, or for fun, a wave of bombers to attack the likes of the Republican Guard like the BUFF’s did in DS/DS?

What Navy base is going to handle all of the cargo aircraft and forward deployment of men and materiel? What Marine or Navy unit for that matter is going to handle the ICBM’s or the Space Command?

As for the snipe shot at the USAF being in the tank for BO, PROOF AND OR SOURCE PLEASE!!!!

Totally different missions across the services is all I will say to end this discussion.

So, the Navy bases their bombers....where? Not on carriers idiot! On Land? They need facilities! Then they are AF!!!!

It has always been my contention that it should hurt to be stupid. The Air Force could return to it’s Army Air Corps days and just test out new models. is an example of the truism of that contention.

The Air Force is required because of the simple physics of flight, and aerial force projection. Add up the following, if you know how to add.
Large masses accelerate more slowly than small masses. It takes more than a mile for a loaded B-52 to get airborn. A B-52 is VERY large. It will not fit on the largest aircraft carrier ever built. A single B-52 carries many times the bomb load of a carrier based bomber. Modern Strategic Bombing is meant to deny Command, Control, Communication and Logistics to the Enemy. A B-52 is a target, and largely unarmed. Fighters, such as the F-22, are required to protect bombers, so the bomber can fulfill it's mission. The Air Force works Way Deep behind the MLR

Now, add THESE facts up. The Primary Mission of Marine Air is to provide Close Air Support for ground troops, and if there is any time or ammo left, can provide air superiority. Notice how few Marine pilots went North on bombing missions during Viet Nam. It was not in the Mission Statement.

78% of the Earth is sea. The Navy projects force at sea, hence the haze gray paint job. Navy air protects carriers and all other shipping until the ship can unload on some Faraway Shore. An aircraft carrier, no matter how large , WILL SINK. Airplanes don't float.

The THREE branches are mutually supporting, even if the Air Force treats it like a 9 to 5 job. Navy Air covers the Sea, and bits close to the Sea, the Marine Air covers the actual combat zone, the Air Force fills in the rest.

No one likes Big Macs, and Walmart, so no one likes the US. Obamaq want to destroy it all, based on some hazy It's A Small World After All crack dream. We are trying to minimize the damage he is doing. You aren't too adept on this Logic thing, are you?

That’s it? That’s your “bent”? You’re anti-Air Force? What a loon.

BTW, you logic, isn’t logical.
“The Air Force is way too politically correct and in the tank for BHO to ever be disbanded.”

Makes no sense in light of BHO canceling their new baby, now does it?
