so.. NKorea and Russia say that the “satellite” is in orbit but SKorea and the US military say it failed (fell into the ocean north of Hawaii) hmmm...

I’m prepared for the ‘Jong-il can’t get it up’ jokes.

Pyongyang and the Russians are lying.

As posted, I listed to Pyongyang Radio live just 30 minutes ago and a male announcer excitedly stated that they had put it into orbit. I kind of laughed at this and said to myslef "just like 2006" This will be their second such satellite launched into orbit which was never launched into orbit. However, what is of concern is that they are increasing their distance.

Now watch Russia at the Security Council tomorrow state the US, Japan and South Korea dont have a case to stand on because it was a satellite orbital shot rather than an ICBM. Of course China will go along with Russia. So much for the "Six Party" fiasco. It is best of S. Korea, Japan and US somehow unite as an alliance against China/Russia/DPRK ASAP...but this will never be expected under the current occupant of the White House and we will have to wait until 2013 when he is out of there, and by then Honolulu, Anchorage or maybe even S.F. and L.A. will have been nuked or chem'ed and/or bio'ed.
