I feel WW3 too.
We ignored WW2 until Pearl Harbor. Just because we ain’t it doesn’t mean the dominoe effect isn’t happening.

WWI started because of one killer shooting a government official and you are telling me this couldnt set off WWIII? Actually there were several of them involved in the effort to off the Grand Duke in Sarajevo, where the same groups are still causing trouble today.

No, it would not.
World War I, for all of it's destruction and carnage never had the potential to end most all human life on the planet.
Nearly a century later, what might be called the 'great powers' now mostly understand that a world conflict will indeed be global in scale. There will be no safe refuge, no sanctuaries, everything and everyone will be a target of some kind.
For that reason alone, World War III won't be set off by the death of a government official.
