Always fascinated by the old Grumman A/C......ever since I saw one at an air show in upstate NY. Saw a pair of Hellcats at Hickham years later....another show. They're incredibly noisy, ain't all that pretty but the aviators loved 'em and wouldn't trade 'em for anything.....short of an F-4U that could land on a carrier deck.

Greetings BIGLOOK, it was the British that figured out how to land a Corsair on a carrier deck. Good thing too or Okinawa might have been a lot worse for us.
