Someone estimated that for any protracted El Cruncho lasting a year or three, someone trying to hunt to support his family (assuming the small and medium-sized game didn’t disappear all at once) would need to lay in about 3000 rounds of each type of ammo he used, in the pre-crisis season of plenty.
